Playdough "babies"

Imagination... they say kids this young don't have it yet. HA! Here, Katie and Ella are pretending that the playdough is their baby.

Ella putting her playdough baby down for 'night-night'. The blue material is the blanket.
Katie putting the baby to bed (in the apple slicer) and giving her a bottle of milk (the piece to the mixer).

"Baby going night-night", Katie says.

Fairy Party

Even though Ella and Katie refused to wear their fairy wings for Halloween, they like putting them on and playing in them around the house. Here are a few photos from our "Fairy Party". Ella is in the purple wings (foreground) and Katie is in the blue wings.

Giving kisses.
This is the 'ah' that follows the kiss.

I LOVE this photo... They are giving hugs and watching themselves in the mirror. Such hams!
Sweet Sissy hugs...
Dancing (i.e. flailing the butterfly wand)

Ella trying to put the wand in her belly button.

Eating Watermelon

Just before our trip to Atoka, the girls had a terrible stomach bug. They were finally feeling a little better and we sat on the back porch one afternoon eating watermelon. I snapped a few pix... I guess because I was so happy they were actually eating something (and keeping it down!)?
Katie (left) and Ella (right) enjoying some watermelon.

Ella enjoying a particularly juicy piece.
Katie giving me a 'look'... her mouth/chin still green from the popsicle she had earlier.

Sticker Nose Ella

Need I say more?

Circus act

We're thinking of starting our own circus act...
Think Cirque du Soleil will take us?

Ella's helper

Ella 'insisted' that 'Sis' hold her hand while she walked on the 'balance beam'.
Katie was happy to oblige. (Doesn't she look proud?)

Ella gets dressed

A proud moment.
Ella dressed herself - pants, shirt (it took 3 times!), AND socks!

Daddy's Special Video

Ella's reaction to the video Daddy made.
Daddy made a special video of him reading books to the girls. Ella was mesmerized! She couldn't take her eyes off the video. She kept saying, "That my Daddy!"

Ella getting a good look at the book Daddy's reading.
"MY Daddy!"
Katie's first view of Daddy.

She's a little more reticent... Not quit sure what to think. I think she'd prefer the real thing.

A Night at Our Favorite Restaurant

Ella (left) and Katie (right) have dinner with Daddy at Johhny Rockets.
Ells LOVES the whipped cream!
Dancing with Daddy after dinner. They love 50's Rock-n-Roll!
