Meeting Chuck E. Cheese

A big day for the girls... meeting Chuck E. Cheese! Yes, they were excited! You would have thought they were meeting Mickey Mouse!! Not scared AT ALL -- they are afraid of a dead moth, but not a guy dressed up like a mouse. Go figure? Katie's in the green shirt and Ella is in pink.

Trip to the Children's Museum

Here's a few photos from our trip to the Children's Museum in Seminole...
The pre-museum nap by Katie. Ella refused to nap (and you will see how tired she looks in the later photos).
The Dinosaur Dig
Ella (in purple) gets ready for the dig by putting on her goggles
I'm pointing out a few fossils to Katie (in white)

Hard at work

"Stay ON goggles!"
They spend a lot of time working on those goggles... getting them juuuusst right. There!
Checking out the Fire Engine... Ella likes the hat.

Exploring the old car... as you can tell, they are very busy (i.e. too busy to smile for the camera!)
Ella finally gets a turn at the wheel.
Flying in the airplane

At the construction sight digging up gravel
Again, LOVING the hats!

Checking out the magnets. Uh, oh. They're getting the "zombie" look... are you girls getting tired?

Still one of Ella's favorite things to do - put things on her fingers.

Katie's fish

Katie caught a fish! She wouldn't pose for the photo though, so Ella is showing off the big catch. Nice catch, don't you think? Pretty good sized bass for such a little girl.
For the recod: Ella caught a fish too the previous day, but I didn't have the camera out then. Bad mommy!

Granddad's Piggy Bank

These are not good photos, but you get the idea... Katie (on bed) and Ella (on floor) found Granddad's piggy bank and proceeded to dump the contents all over his bed/room...

Happy St Patrick's!

Miss Toni sent the girls a little St. Patty's Day gift box... the girls (Ella on the left and Katie on the right) were having fun toasting one another -- Happy St. Patrick's Day, to all!

Neighborhood Friends

Here's a few photos of the other little kids in Grandma and Granddad's neighborhood. Below is Ella and Isabella. She is almost 4 and is a twin too. Her brother, Isaic, is on the 4-wheeler below. They have an older brother, Ian, who is 5 - which is why he's holding up 5 fingers in the photo below. Katie is sitting on the swing, enjoying her juice, watching the boys play...

Serious Painting

The creative process... Ella in the top 2 photos and Katie in the rest.

Watering the Flower Rainbow Shoes

Momma went shopping and couldn't resist these cute, cute shoes... the girls call them their 'watering the flower rainbow' shoes. Ella is on the right, showing her shoes. Katie is too worried about her popcycle to even look at me. The second photo is Ella's unique way of showing me her shoes... Silly girl.
PS: To all my mom friends, would totally recmd crocs -- the girls can put them on all by themselves and talk about easy to clean!

All Dressed Up

Here's Miss Katie... in her nightgown, which she loves to wear every day now, and her blue jeans, beaded purse, pinks beads around her neck, and her church shoes (if I'm not mistaken, on the wrong feet)... waiving goodbye. Doesn't she look like a little old lady you might find on the street corner in New Orleans on Mardi Gras morning?
"Throw me somethin' Mister!"
