Our First Trip to Disneyland

Mom and Dad took us to Disneyland for the first time this week. We had THE BEST time! Much to our parents surprise, we managed to stay until the park closed -- and we were there as the gates opened!

Our day began with breakfast with Minnie Mouse and friends - Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, Chip & Dale, and Capt Hook. We loved everyone and weren't afraid AT ALL (unlike when we saw Barney in person a few months ago!). Ella even let Winnie hold her "Baby" and Katie let Fairy Godmother hold her "Puppy"... not many people are allowed THAT privilege!

The highlights of breakfast also included: Minne pinching Daddy on the 'bum' (I think he liked it!) , jumping with Tigger (Tigger's are very bouncy things), Pooh rubbing our heads and making our hair stand straight up, and discussing with Chip and Dale how people get us mixed up a lot too. (BTW, Chip has a little dark brown nose and Dale has a larger nose and gap between his two front teeth, just like us!)

After breakfast we rode the Merry-Go-Round - and we weren't scared at all! We rode the choo-choo train and took several boat rides -- one went through the mouth of a whale (very scary! Ella had to hide her eyes!), one was a BIG paddle boat, and one went through the jungle. We saw elephants and hippos and alligators and monkeys! Ella was even sprayed by an elephant and Katie was really scared of the fish that jumped out of the water unexpectedly. We also climbed (by ourselves!) to the top of Tarzan's tree house and played on some of Tarzan's pot and pans.

We ended the day with the Magical Light Parade. WOW! What a wonderful day!
